How it works!

How it all Works

  • Order 1yrd3 (.76m3) or ½ yard3 (.38m3) of product to be delivered to your property. Nominate your desired delivery date and drop location. We will arrange for delivery next day if required, (within BGB terms and conditions). You don’t even need to be home to take delivery, just mark an X with chalk or create an X with sticks or anything else that will do the trick and when you get home your Big Green Bag will be there ready to be put to use. No lugging a ton of small bags, no mess, just neat and tidy in the Big Green Bag.
  • Or, purchase an empty Big Green Bag from one of Big Green Bag stockists to fill with green waste. Find your nearest Big Green Bag stockist by letting us know where you are on the home page of www.biggreenbag.com.au
  • If you have ordered product in your bag, use the product at your own pace in a clean, tidy, and efficient way. Your product is protected form elements in the Big Green Bag, so take your time and do your job safely and right!
  • Once you have used all the purchased product and the Big Green Bag is empty, or you have purchased an empty Big Green Bag from one of our stockists, it time to load it up with green waste. Grass clippings, leaf litter, small branches, and stumps etc. (Maximum load ½ tonne). Once you have your bag filled, head to www.biggreenbag.com.au and book in a collection. Terms and Conditions and fees can be found on the recycling page.
  • Sit back… your job is done! Big Green Bag will arrange collection of your Big Green Bag, take you green waste to a recycling facility to be processed, composted, and eventually reused to make your favourite soil, Rich Organic! And so, the cycle begins again.
  • The empty Big Green Bag then gets taken to a recycling facility to be processed.

PROHIBITED WASTE
  • NO Asbestos
  • NO Fibro
  • NO Chemicals.
  • NO Solvents
  • NO Oils
  • NO Paints
  • NO Builders Waste
  • NO Concrete or Bricks

If Big Green Bag has anything other than Green Waste and is required to be reloaded at tip, charges will apply, and load will be delivered back to your site at your cost. In addition to this, you will be charged a fee of $126 and you will not receive a refund of your original purchase.

Placement of Bags for pick up must be accessible for large forklift with no obstructions. If the Big Green Bag is not accessible on pick up, you will be charged an additional pick up fee and you will be responsible to re book collection.

Placement of Big Green Bag for collection on crown land may result in fines form your local Council. Contact your local Council for more information. Placement of bag within your property is advised. Contact your local supplier for more information.

Once your Big Green Bag is delivered, you are responsible for the integrity of the bag. If the bag has been compromised in any way, (cuts, holes, handles broken of frayed, etc) prohibiting collection, the driver may refuse collection due to safety concerns. Extra fees and charges may apply.

All purchased material e.g. soil, mulch, aggregates must be completely removed from Big Green Bag prior to filling with green waste for collection.

Only Big Green Bags are approved for collection. All non-Big Green Bags will be refused collection.

All Big Green Bags will be required for Collection within 3 months from delivery date.
